Spring State of Mind 🌷
Spring is finally here and I couldn’t be happier. The sunlight lingers longer, the grass comes back to life, flowers blossom and outdoor activities start to creep back into our lives. I also love new things, new beginnings and just the idea of change all around.
I’m keeping this post shorter- I just wanted to say happy spring and I hope you find joy in this new season of life wherever it takes you. God is always growing us and doing something good. May we recognize the blessings in our everyday lives and continue to thank him for all He has done, is doing, and will continue to do for us.
SO wherever you are, find an amazing cup of coffee [or an iced shaken espresso with soy and 2 pumps of peppermint😅] and spend some time journaling and reflecting on this past season. What your strengths and weaknesses were, lessons you learned, blessings you were given and obstacles God helped you overcome. After that, close your eyes and Inhale (3…2…1…) exhale (3…2…1…) again inhale (3…2…1) exhale (3…2…1) and begin writing what you hope to see happen in this season. Approach this with a grateful/ content heart as you bring your request to God and leave room for him to surprise you, friend.

Encouragement for Change
I love motivational quotes and speeches so I wanted to share some on change:
“Growth is often uncomfortable, messy, and full of feelings you weren’t expecting. But it’s necessary.”
Unknown
To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God is true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 4:22-24
“The Secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”
Socrates
“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.”
Alan Watts
“Change begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
Roy T. Bennett
